BasicNumber cards (2–10) = face value, Face cards (J, Q, K) = 10 points, Ace = 1 or 11 — you can choose whichever value benefits you.
Hit / Stand

Double Down

Split
Equal Value CardsIf you receive two cards of equal value, you can split them into two separate hands. Note that you must also double your bet accordingly.
Insurance
InsuranceIf the dealer's face-up card is an Ace, you can place an Insurance Bet. If the dealer has Blackjack, Insurance pays out. However, be aware that using this option frequently can increase your costs.
Natural Blackjack
Best HandIf a player hits 21 with their first two cards — an Ace plus a 10-value card — it's called "Blackjack" and pays out at 3:2 on the original bet. It's the best possible result in the game.
What is Basic Strategy
Basic Strategy is a mathematically calculated decision chart based on your card total and the dealer's face-up card. Following this chart consistently is understood to reduce the house edge to its minimum.
